POSTGRADUATE
TRAINING (FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS)
- IPH
is affiliated with the University of Balochistan for
its formal qualification programmes. Recognition with
College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan is being
revived. Processing for Affiliation with the Pakistan
Medical and Dental Council is in progress. The training
for the first ever course in Diploma in Public Health
Practice and Management (DPHPM) has been completed,
the University Examinations will be conducted in due
course.
- The
first ever training programme for Masters in Public
Health (MPH) has been announced. This programme is
presently limited to Doctors employed with the Government
of Balochistan.
- The
first ever Diploma in Hospital Administration (DHA)
has been announced. This programme is presently limited
to Doctors employed with the Government of Balochistan.
- Faculty
M.Phil. Programmes are now under process.
- A
Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professional Education
is being planned to start in mid 2002.
- Two
members of the IPH teaching staff are on the panel
of examiners for FCPS & MCPS examination in the college
of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan. The Director IPH
is on the Faculty of Community Medicine of the College
of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.
